b. 09/08/1845 Botwell, Hayes Mddx (Uxbridge Dist s/d Hayes) to John and Frances Pooley and in the 1861 census he was with them at Barnet, with a job as an errand boy.
m. 02/02/1871 to Sarah Rebecca Pooley, a cousin, at St. Peters, Pimlico (Dist of St. Georges, Hanover Square), address given as Charlotte Street, a piano maker.
In the 1871 census he is at 33 College Street (later Royal C.S.) Camden Town ("Pianoforte maker"). Probably there also in 1872 on Albert's birth.
1874/5 in Kentish Town for the birth of Beatrice and Annie.
1877/79 probably at Chatterton Rd, Finsbury Park (Arthur/John b. 1877/1879)
In the 1881 census at 62 Chatterton Road, Finsbury Park: a "Pianoforte back maker unemployed". Next found in 1903 at 126 Carlingsford Road, Tottenham, "Carpenter" on son's marriage certificate and probate for his father, John in 1911. Possibly moved to 631 Green Lanes by 1922 but unclear - see for Sarah.
d. 16/09/1926 and buried plot K1325 at Great Northern Cemetery with his wife.
