My parental argument for Mary Martin

Mary marries James Harwood in 1813. Allowing her to be around 20 at the time that gives her a date of birth of about 1793. Later census records show her to have been born around that date or perhaps 1794.

Checking all the records as best I can for the surrounding parishes the biggest cluster of Martin's is in Harrow. The borders of Harrow and Greenford are next to each other and also border Northolt. I have also checked Ealing and there is a lack of Martin's there although some.

Five Mary's could be our Mary. Mary d of William and Catherine baptised 10 5 1789 St Mary Harrow. A bit early but possible until you check the burials. She is buried 6 6 1790. Mary Martin daughter of Daniel & Sarah baptised 8 5 1791 but also dies buried 3 12 1793. Mary d of John and Patience baptised Pinner 4 1 1789. Further away and a bit early. Mary d of ? & Ann baptised 1 9 1782 Ealing. Too old. Four Mary's discounted. Wait for it.

William and Catherine have another daughter baptised Mary 31 3 1793. No record that I can find of a burial. It would appear that she survives. Date is right within a good degree of tolerance bearing in mind the education of the day and we are talking about ordinary labourers. The location is also good Harrow and Northolt being next to each other. It is possible that the family may have worked in Greenford when she was young and that it is Greenford she remembered. It also ties in with Northolt well.

Based upon this theory I believe that our Mary is highly like to be the daughter of William and Catherine and therefore part of the Martin family living in Harrow.

The last Siblings of Mary I can trace is Joseph bap 7 5 1797 Harrow.and Sarah baptised 1800.

Mark Keeper's theory

Firstly, your theory regarding James and Sarah. I have checked the original registers in the past and some more recently on Ancestry.
The only Martin baptism's I have found are those below.
Mary, daughter of Thomas and Anne Martin baptised 19th July 1753 in Greenford

James, son of James and Sarah Martin baptised 14th September 1794 in Greenford

James, son of James and Sarah Martin baptised 27th May 1798 in Greenford

Ann daughter of Sarah Martin base born baptised 31st March 1805 in Greenford.

I also found a baptism for a Sarah born 1803 base daughter Sarah Martin in Greenford buried 1804.If the Sarah having children in 1803 & 1805 is the same as married to James it indicates he is dead. However the entry for 1803 shows father unknown. I think it unlikely that Sarah is the same as having children with James. That weakens your Ann married to James Little argument. Also James and Sarah are baptising children at the time our Mary should have been born and the 1794 birth of James is right when Mary would be born according to the census. Again I think this suggests that James and Sarah are not Mary's parents.

18 Extensive searching for Sarah Tiddiman in the parishes surrounding Godmersham has not found an exact match. England Select Births and Christenings lists an entry for Sarah Tittyman baptised 17th Nov 1721 Wye, Kent daughter of Henry Tittyman and Mary. Wye is adjacent to Godmersham. The marriage of Henry Diddeman and Mildred Beaner is listed for 24th May 1717. Examining original entries shows mistranscriptions of poor writing. The match is therefore highly probable allowing for spelling and pronunciation at the time. Tiddiman, Sarah (I100029539099)

19 James Hare died shortly after the 1841 census his age has either been rounded up or down to 80, giving his birth as circa 1761. He is recorded as not being born in the County of Kent. Hare, James (I100029533438)

20 Rebecca clearly had some confusion about her place of birth. Her father records it as Herne Bay in the 1871 census. She seems to believe she was born in Strood. Her sister is recorded by her father as being born in Stroud in the 1871 census. It confirms the link with Strood/Stroud and that there is no doubt this is my grandmother as her birth certificate has not been found. Hare, Rebecca (I100029530719)

26 HENRY de Port (-after 1133). The History of Gloucester St Peter records that "Hugo de Portu factus monachus vicarious Wyntoniæ" donated "Lyteltone in Hamptaschire" to Gloucester St Peter in 1096, adding that "Henricus filius Hugonis de Portu" confirmed his father’s donation[747]. Henry de Port gave a rent to Rochester cathedral priory, with the consent of "his wife Hawise and his son Hugh", by charter dated 1108[748]. Henry de Port founded the priory of Sherborne as the cell of the abbey of Saint-Vigor de Cérisy by undated charter witnessed by "his wife Hawise and his sons William and John"[749]. "Henricum de Port" held three knights’ fees in Bayeux in 1133[750].
m HAWISE, daughter of ---. Henry de Port gave a rent to Rochester cathedral priory, with the consent of "his wife Hawise and his son Hugh", by charter dated 1108[751]. Henry de Port founded the priory of Sherborne as the cell of the abbey of Saint-Vigor de Cérisy by undated charter witnessed by "his wife Hawise and his sons William and John"[752].
Henry & his wife had [four] children:
i) HUGH de Port (-after 1108). Henry de Port gave a rent to Rochester cathedral priory, with the consent of "his wife Hawise and his son Hugh", by charter dated 1108[753].
ii) WILLIAM de Port . Henry de Port founded the priory of Sherborne as the cell of the abbey of Saint-Vigor de Cérisy by undated charter witnessed by "his wife Hawise and his sons William and John"[754].
iii) JOHN de Port (-1168 before 29 Sep). Henry de Port founded the priory of Sherborne as the cell of the abbey of Saint-Vigor de Cérisy by undated charter witnessed by "his wife Hawise and his sons William and John"[755].
iv) [ADAM de Port (-after 1160). The Red Book of the Exchequer refers to "Adam de Port xl vii milites et dimidium" in Hereford in [1160/61][756]. This appears too early for the entry to refer to Adam de Port, son of John de Port, assuming that his birth date is correctly estimated below. This would suggest that Adam belonged to an earlier generation of the family. The Red Book of the Exchequer refers to "Adam de Port xv l ii s" in Hereford in [1167/68][757].]

Biography
Henry de Port, son an heir, witnessed the coronation charter of Herny I in 1100. He was sheriff of Hants at some time between 1101 & 1106, and he was in frequent attendance at the King's court until 1115. His wife Hawise and his son Hugh gave him concent in 1108 to give a rent to Rochester cathedral priory. He founded the priory of Sherborne as a cell of the abbey of St. Bigor-de-Cerisy (-la-Forêt). The charter for this founding was witnessed by his wife Hawise and his sons William and John. He was a justice in eyre in Kent around 1130. In 1133, the Bayeux Inquest shows him holding three knights' fee in Normandy of the Bishop of Bayeux. Henry was a benefactor of the Montacute Priory, Somersetshire, and his wife Hawise gave five hides in West Shefford, Berks, to Sherborne, and three virgates in Farley, Wilts, to the Templars. The date of his death is unknown, but his wife Hawise survived him.

Will firmly establishes Richard as the son of Henry Neame. Lists his children and makes reference to wife Catherine. He refers to his brother Richard Denn which is brought to context as his wife was born Denn maddrried David Elnor and referred to as a widow at her marriage to him.
