(Copy from Alan Pooley) Marriage solmnized at St. Laurence, after Banns in the Parish of Cowley in the County of Middlesex. No. 24, When married 20 February 1843, Benjamin Pooley, full age, Bachelor, Labourer, Hayes, Father Robert Pooley, Labourer. Eliza Burr, 20, Spinster, Cowley, Father John Burr, Miller (deceased) Married in the Parish Church according to the Rites and Ceremonies of the Established Church after Banns by me John Hilliard Rector. This Marriage was solemnized between us Benjamin Pooley and Eliza Burr in the presence of George Burr x his mark and Jane Pooley x her mark. Registration District Uxbridge. Handwritten note:- (Copy from Alan Pooley) This is to certify that Benjamin Pooley of full age Bachelor - and Eliza Burr aged 20 Spinster were married - in the Parish Chuch of Cowley, Middlesex, after banns, february 20 - 1842 - I will send a proper certificate - but am changing my residence - & my papers are in confusion.
